TTMS Privacy Policy
TTMS is transportation management software used by trucking fleets. A fleet (your employer or carrier) opens the account; TTMS processes the information below so that fleet can run its loads, its trucks and its paperwork. We do not sell personal information, and the apps carry no advertising.
Information the apps handle
- Account information — your name, email address, phone number and role, entered by your fleet's office. For drivers this can include commercial licence (CDL) details your fleet keeps on file.
- Location — the TTMS Fleet Driver app reports the phone's location while you are signed in and on duty, so your fleet's dispatch can see where its trucks are. Location is not collected after you sign out or go off duty.
- Photos and documents — paperwork you photograph or upload in the apps: bills of lading, proof-of-delivery, receipts, inspection (DVIR) and dashboard photos. The camera is used only when you choose to take a picture.
- Work records — trip and load activity, odometer readings, duty status, inspection reports and the pay records your fleet keeps for you.
- Device and log data — basic technical records (sign-in times, app version, errors) used to keep the service working and secure.
How it is used
Only to operate the service for your fleet: dispatching and tracking loads, generating the fleet's freight paperwork (invoices, bills of lading, delivery packets), maintaining trucks, keeping compliance records and calculating driver pay. We do not use this information for advertising and we do not sell it.
Who it is shared with
- Your fleet — the account belongs to the carrier you drive for or work with; its office sees the operational data above.
- The fleet's business partners — freight paperwork (not your personal profile) is sent where the fleet's business requires: the broker or customer being billed, and the fleet's factoring company.
- Service providers — the servers and infrastructure that host TTMS, bound to process data only for us.
- Legal requirements — if the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
Records are kept while the fleet's account is active and as transportation regulations require (freight and inspection paperwork has legally mandated retention periods). To correct or delete your information, ask your fleet's office, or contact us directly and we will work with the account owner.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on access-controlled servers, with each fleet's records walled off from every other fleet's.
Children
The apps are workplace tools for commercial drivers and fleet staff and are not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
